I’m Adam, the tech guy.
I live in Desert Hills, Arizona with my wife and our two kiddos. We came to Arizona recently and we absolutely love it here. Camping, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and so much more! It’s no wonder everyone wants to live here these days. But you are probably here to decide if you should reach out to have this guy to help you, so lets talk about my love for all things tech…
It all started when my mom and dad bought our first computer in the early 90’s. An Intel 386 running Windows 3.1 and a boy fascinated by every aspect of how it all worked together. It didn’t take long before I had the case cracked open and was exploring how to upgrade the processor or add a CD-ROM so that I could play the latest games. That love of technology has been with me for as long as I can remember.
Fast-forward 30 years and you can still see that same enthusiasm for tinkering with tech, albeit with a bit more experience. It doesn’t stop at computers either. If it’s got circuit boards, screens, or software, I’m into it and I have accumulated a ton of experience and knowledge working with it all. That’s because as much I love technology, I equally enjoy helping people connect with it. I have discovered that this skillset I have can help bring joy into peoples lives when they are able to experience new ways of seeing and doing things with the help of tech.
For many years I have developed my knowledge and honed my skills, with a degree in Management Information Systems and experience working for large computer and software companies, like Apple. During this time I not only learned the technical skills needed to start my business, but also the values of good customer service, professionalism, and operational excellence. I have accumulated thousands of hours of computer and mobile device support and repair experience for both consumers and small business. I have also spent many years in management, most recently as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (a fancy title for a process improvement project manager). I’m grateful to the companies that I have served in the past because of what they have taught me.
The time has finally come for me to pull all of this experience together and open Neighborhood Tech Guy, LLC. My heart has always desired to serve my community from a more personal and intimate position. I want to build relationships with my clients and for them to know that they are being helped by a neighbor that means well. When I represent my company, I am representing myself and I desire to be known as a respected member of this community, that I love. This desire, along my love of this work means that I am going to always do my best to provide the highest quality services and workmanship.
I really do hope to meet you. Thank you for visiting!
